GHES offers professional training and full program support for horses and riders looking for consistency, structure, and long-term development.
Based out of Columbia Gardens Farm in Fruitvale, BC, the training program is designed to support both the horse’s education and the rider’s goals. Programs may include professional training rides, owner lessons, flatwork, jumping, groundwork, confidence-building, show preparation, and ongoing development based on the needs of each horse and rider combination.
Whether the goal is preparing for competition, developing a young or green horse, improving rideability, or creating a more complete weekly program, GHES provides thoughtful, high-quality support with a focus on clear progression.
Full Program -
Starting at $1,300/month + GST
The Full Program is GHES’ most complete option for horses and riders looking for consistent, professional support.
This program is designed around five days per week of lessons and/or training, depending on the needs of the horse and rider.
The Full Program may include professional training rides, owner lessons, flatwork, jumping, groundwork, fitness, confidence-building, exposure, show preparation, and ongoing development based on the horse’s individual needs and the rider’s goals.
This program is ideal for horses and riders who would benefit from a more complete weekly structure, whether the focus is bringing a horse along, preparing for competition, building confidence, improving rideability, or developing toward long-term goals.
Additional support may be added depending on the program plan, including extra training rides, additional lessons, off-property schooling, show preparation, or customized horse-and-rider development.
Boarding & Care Costs
The Full Program fee covers coaching and/or training through GHES. Board and daily care costs are billed separately.
GHES is based at Columbia Gardens Farm in Fruitvale, BC. Boarding is operated by Columbia Gardens Farm and is currently $625/month.
Board includes 24/7 hay, twice-daily waterer checks, attentive daily care, and options for stalls with runs or group turnout paddocks.
Pen cleaning is arranged separately through GHES and is currently $300/month.
Estimated monthly base cost for a horse in the Full Program at Columbia Gardens Farm:
Full Program: starting at $1,300/month + GST
Board: $625/month
Pen Cleaning: $300/month
Additional costs may include grain, supplements, farrier, veterinary care, show fees, hauling, bodywork, and other horse care expenses.
Individual Training Rides -
$75 + GST per ride
Individual training rides may be available depending on scheduling and program availability.
Training rides can be helpful for horses needing additional professional support, a tune-up, help through a specific stage, or consistency between owner rides.
For horses needing regular development, the Full Program is generally recommended.
